Armed and Black

Police Tuesday arrested two men who were allegedly seen dressed in full tactical gear threatening to ambush officers.

Two armed black men were seen about 12:45 a.m. dressed in military garb walking on Century Boulevard between Yukon Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood, according to police.

Police fired a bean bag weapon at the men, which ultimately led to their arrest.

“There was video footage of two individuals … ,” Green said. “So, investigatively, since then we’ve been moving forward to try and determine if these are legal assault weapons, and what the intentions of the individuals were.”

If they were committing no crime, why were they fired at? If they didn't fire back, why were they arrested?
The men were reportedly walking the neighborhood in a Black Lives Matter-type protest.
So, now, whenever two black men with guns are together, they're a BLM-type protest.  If the BLM protesters had a march of hundreds of black men with guns, gun laws would change pretty quickly.

Notice how this article started out saying these men were "threatening to ambush officers" and then gives no evidence?

Broadcast footage showed the men pacing along dark streets with guns they claimed were unloaded slung over their shoulders. They ranted about racism and white supremacy. Lt. Greg Held of the Inglewood Police Department said officers took no action for the safety of several bystanders watching. Held said that although the men were carrying weapons, their activity didn’t seem threatening and officers decided to avoid confrontation and just monitor them.

Until they shot one with a "non-lethal" weapon.
Green said police followed the men’s vehicle to Foothill Boulevard and Terra Bella Street, where the vehicle stopped shortly before 7 a.m.

The men got out, but they “failed to comply with the officers’ commands” and officers used a nonlethal device — apparently firing a rubber bullet — in taking the driver into custody, he said. The passenger sat down and was also taken into custody.

“Once the investigation is done, these two individuals will be booked. We will arrest them for carrying three firearms,” Lopez said.
I guess you only get one per person to be legal.

...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
