Don't Worry Your Pretty Little Heads

You're protected by the Big Dog. Be afraid, though. You need to be afraid.

President Obama said he plans to address the nation on the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Wednesday, vowing to "hunt down" the terrorists.

Obama said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" that the U.S. will track down ISIS "wherever they are."

"I will reserve the right to always protect the American people and go after folks who are trying to hurt us wherever they are," he said.

Well,they seem to be everywhere, so that’s pretty big talk, little man.

"We are going to systematically degrade their capabilities. We're going to shrink the territory that they control. And that's how we're going to defeat them," he said.

Not setting the bar for “defeat” very high, is he? If nothing, the United States’ ruling class has learned that to have “success”, you only need to define it properly.

“What I'm going to be asking the American people to understand is, number one, this is a serious threat,” Obama said about the Wednesday speech. “Number two, we have the capacity to deal with it.”

“This is not the equivalent of the Iraq war,” Obama says.

Oh, nothing like!

And, did you get that?  Be afraid.  But don't worry.

Despite the immediacy of the Wednesday's speech Obama said no "immediate intelligence" indicates any threat to the U.S. by ISIS.

So, what color is the threat?  It was so much easier to know how afraid to be when they color coded it.

"We are going to degrade and ultimately defeat (ISIS), the same way that we have gone after al Qaeda, the same way we have gone after the al Qaeda affiliate in Somalia," Obama said.

So al Qaeda and its affiliates have been defeated? Like Blackwater has been disbanded.

 ...but hey, do what you want...you will anyway.
